Everyone from New York City takes pride in his or her teams. Why shouldn’t they, New York is more than likely the most popular city when it comes to talking about major league sports. There isn’t a day or night that there isn’t a major sporting event happening in this city.
With two teams in all major sports but basketball, it’s proof that New York loves their sports. From the Giants and Jets, to the Islanders and Rangers, to the Mets and the beloved Yankees and Knicks, how can this town go wrong with their sports franchises? It’s obvious they love them so much they need multiple teams.
Yes the fans can be hard on their NY favorite teams (and opponents for that matter ; ) but you won’t find a more devoted group of fans anywhere. Keeping it real New York fans love their New York sports teams.
