New York Knicks Tickets – Far from Starbury
Oh, how the mighty have fallen. It was a few years ago that former team president Isiah Thomas was announced in Manhattan to Coney Island pickled own Stephon Marbury escort home to play the Knicks in New York. However, when he joined the Knicks in 2003 people saw it as an opportunity for Marbury to make good on that promise everything in the city in the that grew no less.
But things have not gone wonderfully well in New York for guard. The Knicks have failed to reach the playoffs in each season except Marbury first with the team, and he feuded with every coach has brought in. Management Marbury could not accept the teachings of Larry Brown, who helped Allen Iverson and Chauncey Billups to take your game to a championship level and turned in his biggest supporter, Isiah Thomas, after Thomas had assumed responsibilities as coach.
But everything seemed to be easing this spring. New head coach Mike D'Antoni was playing significant minutes Marbury contests display and Marbury seemed to be the acceptance of a paper that came off the bench. Come opening night, however, Marbury did not see the ground with guys like Mardy Collins get minutes on the former star. In the second game of the season, not Marbury. The third? Marbury did not even dress.
This turn of events led to a meeting between Marbury, D'Antoni and team president Donnie Walsh. Many expected the meeting of the minds to lead to one of two things, or to refrain from Marbury to be or is granted some kind of role in the rotation. Neither happened and the word out of the Big Apple is that the Knicks Marbury will continue to sit for the rest of the season because it collects about $ 21,800,000.
Personally, I think Marbury is waived, but perhaps the regime of the Knicks is the hope that it will not able to withstand the punishment and eventually accept some form of purchase agreement. It is clear that nobody wants around Marbury in New York, no fans, no peers no equipment, the management team. Their presence can not help the team as such, that's for sure, and the Knicks certainly do not need anything to drag them this season. Things are improving in MSG D'Antoni and Walsh to the New York Knicks head and tickets are starting to regain its luster, but if anything can bring all this down which is a disgruntled bench player for approximately ten times as much money as Nate Robinson.
