Mark Ingram has had a life full of ups and downs special rock bottom. A true fallen giant has gone from hero of Super Bowl XXV to a prisoner in the Prison System Federal.
In 1991 during the Super Bowl against the Buffalo Bills, Ingram caught a pass and eluded several bills defensive and went their way to the first and more important in this game. I believe the Giants would have lost that game without their contribution.
Mark was a good receiver who played for the Giants, Dolphins, Packers and Eagles in his NFL career. He was selected by New York as the post 28 of the first round of the Michigan State University in 1987. He was given a bonus of $ 400,000 under a contract of 1.285 million U.S. dollars profit.
Ingram was also involved in another memorable game on 27 November 1994 when the Miami Dolphins defeated Dan Marino led the AFC East rival New York Jets in the game of the infamous false peak. In 2001 Mark Ingram was arrested and convicted for possession of counterfeit money, which amounted to $ 3290, his conviction for this offense is six months. In 2004 he was sentenced to one year in jail after an arrest for theft of a credit card in Michigan. In 2007 he was charged but not convicted on charges of breaking and dwelling and theft of a handbag. There was insufficient evidence to convict in this case. On September 16, 2008 he received the longest sentence of seven years for fraud banking and money laundering.
This last sentence was "Rock Bottom" for Mark Ingram, pleaded for leniency when he addressed the judge, but his criminal history was not useful. I was trying to buy time to see his son, Mark Ingram Jr., play in the SEC championship game with his team of Alabama. The judge found which until 12/05/08 to turn himself in The date came and went and Ingram did not appear at that time a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He finally was detected and arrested on 3 January 2009 in Flint, Michigan. Mark Ingram, now 44 years old faces additional charges for evading the authorities and the failure to surrender to serve to his sentence.
Her son is a very talented player and seems destined for the NFL. It is unfortunate that the bad decisions and lack of respect for the law forbids him to enjoy the Special Moments Jr. may have in his professional football career.
